To celebrate the 93rd birthday of the Estonian National Symphony Orchestra, get two tickets for the price of one for many concerts.
Estonia’s representative orchestra shares its birthday with Estonian Public Broadcasting. They both were founded on 18 December 1926 – this was the first radio broadcasting day in Estonia, the musical part of which was taken care of by the trio of the public broadcasting, led by violinist Hugo Schütz, the orchestra’s first principal violin. This trio developed into Estonia’s representative orchestra, now comprising a hundred musicians.
