The music of ‘Firebird’ was first performed in Tallinn by the Broadcasting Orchestra (now ERSO) 85 years ago . This time, the suite completed in 1945 will be performed.

The concert begins with “Nostalgia” by Japanese composer Tôru Takemitsu, which is dedicated to Russian film director Andrei Tarkovsky. Triin Ruubel, the leader of the orchestra.

Dutch conductor Bas Wiegers has stood out for his charisma and openness. He has conducted numerous European orchestras, including the Hague Philharmonic, the Netherlands Philharmonic Orchestra and Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra, the WDR Symphony Orchestra Cologne, and others. Since 2018, he has been the of the Klangforum Wien chamber orchestra based in Vienna at the Konzerthaus. The orchestra does not have an official principal conductor.
