This Friday, November 11th 2022, Renaud Capuçon was announced to perform in Estonia’s Concert Hall. But due to health reasons the French violinist his trip to Estonia will not take as planned. We are happy to present the rising star of the music world – Stephen Waarts to take Mr. Capuçon´s place and perform as a soloist of Estonian National Symphony Orchestra. The concert programme remains the same.
Stephen Waarts’ poetic musical language has made him a favourite of audiences all over the world. Waarts´es repertoire includes nearly 30 well-known violin concertos and chamber music. In 2015, Waarts received the fifth prize and the majority of the TV audience’s votes at the Queen Elisabeth competition.
