The concert series “Braavo!” puts the spotlight on the brilliant soloists of the Estonian National Symphony Orchestra (ERSO). Indrek Leivategija, principal of the cello section, performs as the soloist in Antonín Dvořák’s immensely popular Cello Concerto. Often called the “king of cello concertos”, the work is extraordinary in both its emotional depth and grand scale. The orchestra is conducted by Netherlands-based Marc Albrecht, a maestro with extensive experience in musical theater, who will lead the ensemble through Richard Wagner’s powerful overtures to the operas Lohengrin, Die Meistersinger von Nürnberg, and Tannhäuser.
