At the opening concert of ERSO’s soloist series “Braavo!”, Sara D’Amico will perform Carl Reinecke’s romantic harp concerto on her enchanting instrument. The evening is conducted by Giordano Bellincampi, a long-time friend of both ERSO and Estonian audiences. In addition to the harp concerto, the program features Johannes Brahms’s Academic Festival Overture, which includes the delight of a familiar student song, known locally as the folk tune Mu isamaa armas. The concert’s romantic atmosphere is brought to a brilliant conclusion by Felix Mendelssohn’s grand Scottish Symphony.
