CONCERT SERIES<\/b><b>\r\n<\/b><b>ERSO\u2019s Radiant Soloists<\/b>\r\n\r\n<img class=\"wp-image-12098 alignnone\" src=\"https:\/\/erso.ee\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/ENG_Liviko_black-600x366.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"151\" height=\"92\" \/>\r\n\r\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400\">In the \u201cBRAVO!\u201d concert series, five brilliant soloists from <\/span><b>ERSO<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> step into the spotlight, offering the audience a fresh and engaging insight into classical music.<\/span>\r\n\r\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400\">At the series' opening concert in January, <\/span><b>Sarah D'Amico<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> will perform <\/span><b>Carl Reinecke\u2019s<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> romantic Harp Concerto on her enchanting instrument. The evening is conducted by <\/span><b>Giordano Bellincampi<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, a long-time friend of both ERSO and Estonian audiences. In addition to the harp concerto, the program features <\/span><b>Johannes Brahms\u2019s<\/b> <i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Academic Festival Overture<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, which includes the delight of a familiar student song, known locally as the folk tune <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Mu isamaa armas<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">. The concert\u2019s romantic atmosphere is brought to a brilliant conclusion by <\/span><b>Felix Mendelssohn\u2019s<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> grand <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Scottish Symphony<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">.<\/span>\r\n\r\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The protagonist of the March concert is cellist <\/span><b>Indrek Leivategija<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, performing as the soloist in<\/span><b> Anton\u00edn Dvo\u0159\u00e1k\u2019s<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> immensely popular Cello Concerto. The evening is conducted by the Netherlands-based <\/span><b>Marc Albrecht<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, whose extensive experience in music theatre will bring to life the powerful operatic overtures of Richard Wagner.<\/span>\r\n\r\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400\">In April, ERSO\u2019s own brilliant soloists, violinist <\/span><b>Triin Ruubel<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> and cellist <\/span><b>Theodor Sink<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, join forces on stage. Their engaging creative dialogue breathes life into a true monument of music history: <\/span><b>Johannes Brahms\u2019s<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> Double Concerto for Violin and Cello. Conducted by Chief Conductor <\/span><b>Olari Elts<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, the program also features a new work by London-based Estonian composer <\/span><b>Mihkel Kerem<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> and <\/span><b>Jean Sibelius\u2019s<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> romantic Symphony No. 1.<\/span>\r\n\r\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The fourth concert of the series in late April brings percussionist <\/span><b>Vambola Krigul<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> to the stage to premiere a brand-new composition by his brother, composer <\/span><b>\u00dclo Krigul<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">. Conductor <\/span><b>Kristiina Poska<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> has also programmed another contemporary work, <\/span><b>Elis Hallik\u2019s<\/b> <i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Transience<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, which seeks to capture fleeting beauty through music.
