The goal of the British composer\u2019s legendary album <\/span>Ambient 1: Music for Airports<\/span><\/i> is to soothe travelers' fear of flying with music that diffuses into the atmosphere, brightening the surrounding environment. <\/span>The idea was sparked by Eno\u2019s own frustrating experience at Cologne Bonn Airport, where irritating background music made his pre-flight anxiety unbearable. Released in 1978, <\/span>Music for Airports<\/span><\/i> has since been installed in several airports worldwide. The piece was first adapted for the concert stage by the ensemble Bang on a Can All-Stars, who also performed it for Tallinn audiences in 1999.<\/span>\r\n\r\nThe season continues with discoveries in Tallinn\u2019s trendiest maritime settings:<\/span>\r\n<\/span>This autumn, an exciting new venue Taru Nature House opens its doors in the Noblessner district. ERSO\u2019s performance here will immerse the audience in music inspired by the sounds of nature.<\/span>\r\n\r\nA favorite destination for film and art enthusiasts, Kai Art Center will host an ERSO quartet in January for a concert featuring a uniquely curated and captivating program, featuring the works of <\/span>Jonny Greenwood<\/b>, <\/span>P\u0113teris Vasks<\/b>, and <\/span>Arvo P\u00e4rt<\/b>.<\/span>\r\n\r\nIn April, the \"Audio Spa\" series offers an atmospheric evening at the Old City Harbour Cruise Terminal.
