He has participated in a number of&nbsp;international chamber music courses in Sweden and the Netherlands.<\/p>\n<p>T\u00f5nu J\u00f5esaar&nbsp;has been the principal cellist of the Estonian National Symphony Orchestra&nbsp;and the Tallinn Chamber Orchestra, as well as played in various ensembles&nbsp;in Estonia: Tallinn String Quartet, Noobel Nelik, Tallinn Baroque,&nbsp;Rondellus and Baltic Baroque. He is also a sought after basso continuo&nbsp;player and has collaborated with the Helsinki Baroque Orchestra and Opus&nbsp;X in Finland, Latvian National Opera&#8217;s producti on of Handel&#8217;s Alcina, and&nbsp;Estonian National Opera&#8217;s production of Handel&#8217;s Julius Caesar.<\/p>\n<p>T\u00f5nu J\u00f5esaar is an active member of the following&nbsp;ensembles: Floridante, C-JAM, Ars Revalia, Ardor, gamba consort v\u00e4ike<br \/>\nrinG, Corelli Consort, and Klaasp\u00e4rlim\u00e4ng Sinfonietta.<br \/>\nT\u00f5nu J\u00f5esaar is a professor of the viola da gamba in Collegium Educationis&nbsp;Revaliae (Old Town Educational College).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>T\u00d5NU J\u00d5ESAAR cello ENSO member from 1988, Principal Cello&nbsp;1992\u20131996 T\u00f5nu J\u00f5esaar started studying the cello in Tallinn Music High School (Laine Leichter) and later completed his musical studies in Estonian Academy of&nbsp;Music and Theatre (Toomas Velmet).
