Her teachers were Fabrice Pierre, Sylvain Blassel, and Park Stickney.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">D\u2019Amico began playing the harp in Italy under the guidance of Lucia Antonacci and completed the Trinity College Music Certification Exams in 2016. From a young age, she achieved notable results in international harp competitions: in 2012, she won 1st Prize at \u201cSuoni d\u2019Arpa\u201d, in 2016, 2nd Prize at the \u201cMarcel Tournier\u201d competition, and in 2017, 1st Prize at the \u201cConcours Fran\u00e7ais de la Harpe\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Her orchestral career began in 2019, when she won a place in the Gustav Mahler Jugendorchester, to which she was selected for three consecutive years. In 2022, she was selected for the European Union Youth Orchestra. There, she performed under the direction of conductors such as Gianandrea Noseda, Herbert Blomstedt, Jonathan Nott, Gustavo Gimeno, and Iv\u00e1n Fischer, and received guidance from leading orchestral harpists, including Luisa Prandina of Teatro alla Scala in Milan and Julie Palloc of Opernhaus Z\u00fcrich.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As a professional musician, D\u2019Amico has collaborated with numerous orchestras, including the Orchestra dell\u2019Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia, the Nordic Symphony Orchestra, the Orchestra of the Op\u00e9ra de Lyon, the Orchestra Accademia Teatro alla Scala, the Orchestra of the Teatro dell\u2019Opera di Roma, the Orchestra of the Teatro San Carlo of Naples, the Orchestra del Teatro Comunale di Bologna, and the Orchestre Symphonique Tunisien. She has performed under the direction of conductors including Paavo J\u00e4rvi, Daniele Gatti, Mikko Franck, Donato Renzetti, and Daniel Oren.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In 2026, D\u2019Amico performed as a soloist with the Estonian National Symphony Orchestra in the European Premiere of Riho Maimets\u2019s \u201cEcdysis\u201d for Harp, Piccolo, and Orchestra.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">She has also taken part in several Chamber Orchestra Festivals in Italy, Switzerland, and France, including Note d\u2019Autunno, Mantovamusica, Piacenza Classica, Lossimuusika Festival, ByPass Forum de la cr\u00e9ation musicale, and Colibr\u00ec Ensemble.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In addition to her position as Principal Harpist of the ERSO, D\u2019Amico regularly collaborates with the Orchestra of the Teatro dell\u2019Opera di Roma, having won the audition as substitute first harpist in 2023.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>SARA D&#8217;AMICO harpERSO member since 2023 Sara Siria D\u2019Amico has been Principal Harpist of the Estonian National Symphony Orchestra since 2023.
