Estonian National Symphony Orchestra<\/strong> (ERSO) is the leading symphony orchestra in Estonia, vivid and versatile, adept in performing a wide array of traditional symphonic music, likewise taking a keen interest in contemporary music. Having a regular schedule of weekly concerts we take pride in performing with renowned conductors and soloists from around the world and cooperating with numerous highly acclaimed record companies. Undertaking 1-2 international tours yearly is customary, plus multiple concerts performed around Estonia. Throughout each season, all ERSO musicians are encouraged to suggest ideas for and to participate in various chamber music programmes, with fellow orchestra members and guest soloists.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

SECTION PLAYER (I VIOLIN) <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

(full-time; monthly remuneration \u20ac1900 in gross sum equivalent to \u20ac2527 Euros with social tax; annual paid leave 35 calendar days; commencing August 2026).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The audition will be held in two rounds \u2013 the video round and the stage round. To apply, please send your application and CV (no official application forms are provided) to audition@erso.ee, with a quoting reference \u201cI Violin\u201d,  by 13 April 2026<\/strong> at the latest, along with a link to a video recording where you perform:
one piece of candidate’s own choice from the following (with cadenza, accompaniment allowed):
Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart \u2013 Violin Concerto No 3 G major, k. 216: 1st MOV;
Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart \u2013 Violin Concerto No 4 D major, k. 218: 1st MOV or
Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart \u2013 Violin Concerto No 5 A major, k.219: 1st MOV.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The video recording must be filmed with one camera, the player facing the camera so that also both, the player\u2019s hands and the instrument, can completely be seen throughout. Any postprocessing of the sound or picture is prohibited. All required music can be recorded separately or all in one take. The recording should be sent to us as a link to an unlisted YouTube video<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Invitations to the stage audition will be sent to selected candidates by 19 April 2026<\/strong> the latest, after the initial review of the sent documents and videos by the audition committee.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The stage audition will be held on the 4th of June 2026 at 15:00 (i.e. 3 p.m.) at the Estonia Concert Hall<\/strong>.<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
